The Great Leicester Ghost Hunt

This Halloween Leicester has been taken over by a host of spooky spirits there`s Lost Roman Legionnaires at Jewry Wall Museum and Ady Demon`s doing a Night Shift at BBC Radio Leicester, whats that apparition on the walls of the Guildhall (Leicester`s Oldest Building).
Over at Cocoa Amore the Jungle drums are beating out a spooky rhythm as ancient spirits are stirring once again. Mischievous goblins are messing with time in the workings of the famous St Martins Square clock. The spirits of Vikings are haunting the Highcross beacons and over at the Grand Hotel the Paranormal Porter might just take your soul along with your bags !. On a side mission there is some questionable real estate goul have to put down more than the usual deposit to secure. Waiting for the Night Bus (route 666) at the LCB depot is a lineup that would give any Crypt Crew a fright. Back at Highcross the beacons are now showing a collection of Halloween shapes in bright colours illuminating the St Peters Square in a suitably spooky light.

Early Morning at Bradgate Park

This short film was shot by me during the early morning sunrise at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire. The film features Bradgate park which was the birthplace and early home of Lady Jane Grey - 9 days Queen of England. The park is well known for its herds of red and fallow deer who roam freely amongst the spectacular scenery of this unspoilt part of Leicestershire.

BMX National Series at Huncote Hornets, Leicestershire

The 29th and 30th September 2018 saw the #BMX National Series come to #Leicester Huncote Hornets BMX track, The event (rescheduled due to weather issues in early spring) saw riders of all ages arrive in the Leicestershire town from across the country to do battle on the Hornets BMX track behind the Pavilion leisure center. My film aims to give a sense of the race atmosphere on day two of the event where a dramatically cloudy sky and lighting gave a cinematic feel to races on the track. Hold on tight this is a fast one !.

The Paris - Roubaix Bike Race - April 2013

My film features the professional (and dusty !) Paris - Roubaix Bike Race which took place in April 2013 and was filmed at various locations along the route in France. The Race takes place (as its name suggests) on a route between Paris and Roubaix in northern France and is famous for its rough terrain and cobblestones which often cause riders to fall and gives the race its nickname of 'The Hell of the North & 'A Sunday in Hell'. The event was first run in 1896 and as one of cycling's oldest races draws large crowds from many country's. The race was created by two Roubaix textile manufacturers, Théodore Vienne and Maurice Perez.
