On Saturday 28th October 2017 the Bloodhound SSC (Supersonic Car) completed the second set of public test runs at Cornwall Airport, Newquay. Powered by a Rolls-Royce EJ200 jet engine the car reached speeds of over 200mph. The gathered crowd where treated to spectacular fast (and Loud) runs along the runway from driver Andy Green who said "I`m delighted to be able to demonstrate the amazing performance of Bloodhound to a new set of spectators". My film begins with a pre-run look at the car and we join driver Andy Green as he speaks about the challenges of driving such a unique car, we then see him climbing into the driving seat and the car is moved to the end of the runway to begin it`s spectacular "blink-and-you`ll-miss-it" run along the runway.

On the 27th October 2013 much of the UK was battered by Storm St Jude. I travelled to Cornwall to witness the storm as it made landfall on the Cornish coast. High waves and strong winds battered the coastline and the lighthouse at Godrevey as the storm approached. Despite the epic scene a small Kestrel hovered in front of me its head and eyes fixed on its prey below whist it expertly used its wings to steady itself against the gale force wind that made my attempts to stay stood upright look futile in comparison. I later moved on to Newquay and the famous Cribbar wave which like a monster rose from sea and smashed into the rocks below, as the wind speed increased we set off for home. images follow

My short film features a selection of Surfing & BMX action from the 2013 Boardmasters Surf Festival at Fistrel beach in Newquay Cornwall. The annual Boardmasters event combines Surf, Skate & BMX competitions at Fistral Beach which is well known as the home of the British surfing, the event also features a Surf Retail Village offering various apparel from leading brands such as Quicksilver, Fat Face, Oakley and more. Liskeard to Looe by Steam Railmotor follows the GWR Steam Railmotor along the Liskeard to Looe branch line in Cornwall on remembrance Sunday 2012. My video features the train as it powers through a number of locations along the branch line at different times of the day.
