Menphys Charity Car Wash

A poster designed for a Charity Car Wash at Sainsbury's Local Narborough Road store in aid of Local Charity Menphys. The heavy rough textured typeface was chosen to give the illusion of the text being washed by the bubbles around it which cover the text in places two sponges complete the image at the bottom.

Wartime Weekend 2013 - Great Central Railway

The Great Central Railway`s Wartime Weekend sees the Railway (and its visitors) travelling back in time recreating scenes from the 1940`s when Britain was at war. The event features numerous authentic vehicles and music from the era as modern day visitors mix with those in historic uniforms always ready to answer any questions. Visitors may also bump into Winston Churchill and other well known VIP`s of the era in what has become a very popular annual event. The weekend`s events culminate with a Tiger Moth Plane performing a Poppy drop at the end of the event.  (Photos after the jump !)

Snowdon Mountain Rescue

Whilst filming at the summit of Mt Snowdon I witnessed a Royal Air Force Helicopter performing a rescue of a stranded climber. The Helicopter is believed to be from the base at which HRH Prince William is based although it is unknown as to whether he was in the pilot`s seat on this occasion.
