My video features Action from Act 6 of the Extreme Sailing Series. Cardiff Bay provided perfect 'Stadium Style' viewing opportunities for the fast paced Extreme Sailing Series held over the August Bank Holiday, As the only UK based event on the series calendar the event attracted visitors from far and wide who where treated to plenty of action as teams from around the world competed in several high speed races. The action was so exiting even a well known Doctor materialised his time machine on the shoreline to take in the action ! see if you can spot it. photos follow

The Severn Bore is a tidal bore seen on the tidal reaches of the River Severn in England. The bore is popular with surfers who come from far and wide to ride this rare river wave, It forms upstream of Sharpness, and can be seen as far as Maisemore and on particularly high tides has been known to reach Upper Lode Lock below Tewkesbury. My film (Surfing the Severn Bore) features the evening bore of Wednesday 21st August 2013 and shows the bore approaching and passing before continuing its journey upriver carrying many surfers as it goes. The largest recorded bore was on 15 October 1966, which reached a height of 9.2 feet (2.8 m).

My film features cycling action from the first ever Leicester Castle Classic Professional Bike Race. The 20 lap race took place on 18th August 2013 around a route that took in some well known landmarks of the city of Leicester, From the start/finish line at Bede Park on Western Boulevard the route took the riders into old Leicester though the tight cobblestoned medieval gateways and lanes the area is known for, The route then looped back onto Western Boulevard before making a sharp left crossing the river soar and continuing down to the King Power football stadium home of Leicester City FC before retuning to Bede Park. The race was preceded by a 'Shoppers and Choppers' race and a 'Corporate challenge' both open to the general public. Photos follow below

My short film features a selection of Surfing & BMX action from the 2013 Boardmasters Surf Festival at Fistrel beach in Newquay Cornwall. The annual Boardmasters event combines Surf, Skate & BMX competitions at Fistral Beach which is well known as the home of the British surfing, the event also features a Surf Retail Village offering various apparel from leading brands such as Quicksilver, Fat Face, Oakley and more. The Salcombe Town Regatta is held yearly in the small town of Salcombe in Devon famed for its local crab and popular with holiday makers. The week long town regatta includes many traditional seaside events such as a sandcastle competition, spot the bloomer and a very popular firework display usually on the penultimate day of the event. My video (filmed from South Sands beach just outside the town) affords the viewer an alternative angle on the 2013 display with Salcombe castle silhouetted against the bright colours of the display.

My short film joins several pro-cyclists as they arrive at The Oueen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the inaugural Prudential Ride London-Surrey Classic bike race which took place on 4th August 2013. After crossing the start line the cyclists followed a 140 mile variation on the London 2012 Olympic Road Cycling Race route through 12 London boroughs and the county of Surrey with a finish line on the Mall in central London. My film concludes with the race winner Arnaud Demare taking to the podium with Buckingham Palace and The Mall bathed in orange evening sunlight as his backdrop.
