Desford Scarecrow Festival 2019 - Best Of British

The annual Desford scarecrow festival (one of the biggest in the country) returned in 2019 with a theme of Best Of British, celebrating everything great about Great Britain from comedy to classic TV and everything in between. Look out for a host of Aardman Animations characters, The England 1966 world cup winners and a model Flying Scotsman steam train that actually smokes from its chimney !.

Tour De Yorkshire - Bridlington to Scarborough

I traveled to Yorkshire to see stage 3 of the #TourDeYorkshire from Bridlington to Scarborough. My film begins at the start of the stage in a very wet Bridlington where we see the teams preparing the bikes for the race and a rather random sea (or shoud that be land ?) Captain and his first mate. The action continues in the picturesque village of Hackness where the riders face a steep hairpin climb before reaching the finish line on a dramatically stormy Scarborough seafront. The Tour of Yorkshire is a 4 day professional cycle race taking in all 4 corners of the English county, featuring professional riders from various international teams, The race itself speeds it`s way through some of Britain`s most beautiful countryside and takes in 150 villages, towns and cities along its entire route.

Tour Of Britain - Nuneaton Start & Kenilworth Castle

I took a trip to #Nuneaton to see the start of stage 4 of the Tour of Britain. My film begins at the race village in Nuneaton town center where the various competing teams ready their bikes for the race and we see Connor Swift, Chris Froome and other pro-riders head to the start line for rider sign on. After the race begins we see the riders leave the town and head out on to the stage. We then pick up the action further on in #Kenilworth where the large castle provides a dramatic backdrop to the action. The stage finished in Royal Leamington Spa (not featured) and is part of the Tour Of Britain a countrywide cycle race held annually in various locations around Britain.
