Once again the Cosby Crafters have come together to create another fantastic Yarnbomb in the Leicestershire village of Cosby, This years theme "Make A Splash !". There's a giant octopus attached to the side of the barn and at the fish and chip shop someone has just been eaten by a shark !, No its not the plot of a new Hollywood summer blockbuster film but some clever crochet creations by the Cosby Crafters turning the village into a water themed wonderland with this years theme of "Make A Splash !". There's lots to see with seahorses playing trumpets and a whole shoal of fish swinging in the summer breeze. Children run from creation to creation singing "just keep swimming" and "look mum, a shark !". Moo-ving on we find Daisy the cow enjoying a cooling splash of milkshake and is that Mr Toad simply messing about on the river ? maybe ratty was right after all. Attached to some railings is a knitted underwater scene with some fish sporting s...

The village churches got involved too with both methodist and baptist churches creating a selection of bells snowflakes and more, even the village sign and christmas tree didn't escape each getting its own selection of knitted creations. The Cosby Crafters return to the streets of Cosby with a Christmas Yarnbomb. Building on the success of the groups Summer Yarnbomb the Christmas event sees the village decorated with festive creations from various creative individuals. The film begins with a postbox topper and knitted sign and continues with a look at knitted trees and and a full nativity scene including life sized characters and even knitted ducks.

After the success of the event in 2020, the Cosby Crafters are back in 2021 with a new Yarnbomb with a theme of "up up and away" to brighten up the village. With creations including cheeky seagulls, fairytale characters, Giant Butterflies and more there was something for everyone. The postbox in The Nook has been given a topper Mr Whippy (parked alongside) would be proud of, there`s even a flake and raspberry sauce. A little further down the road several giant butterflies have come to rest on the side of a barn and a large knitted sign gives passing motorists and visitors a clue as to whats happening. As you enter the village a knitted bi-plane is flying a strange flight path whilst outside the popular Tithe Barn a group of knitted geese form their V shape flying formation.
