Christmas In Leicester - DMU Gospel Choir

A clip of Sundays performance of Hark! the Herald Angels Sing in Jubilee Square Leicester by DMU Gospel Choir. The Choir`s voices provided a beautiful festive accompaniment to my trip on the Leicester Wheel of light and can also be heard in my Ride the Wheel of light film part of my Christmas In Leicester series. https://youtu.be/3wIGd8RHKMg

Christmas In Leicester - Ride The Wheel Of Light

Join me as I ride on the Leicester Wheel Of Light. During the festivals of Diwali and Christmas in Leicester a Spectacular 110-foot Ferris wheel visited two locations in the city initially standing in Belgrave Road for the city's Diwali celebration before being dismantled and relocated to Jubilee Square in time for the Christmas lights switch on and to play a big part of the citys festive celebrations. My film features a full rotation and gives a perspective on the city at dusk that is usually reserved for winged residents of the city. Look out for the High Cross monument, High Street Christmas lights shining though the fog,  BBC Radio Leicester`s Open Center, The Cathedral resting place of King Richard III and The Old Town of Leicester among other sights. The wheel is one of the tallest rides of its kind in the UK and contains 24 gondolas, each of which can carry six passengers. images follow

Christmas In Leicester - Town Hall Square

A look at Leicesters Town Hall Square decorated for the Christmas Holiday Season with lights and scenes featuring favorite characters, This year featuring a scene from Wallace & Grommet A Close Shave. The town hall shines bright with the traditional message of Christmas Greetings and lights are hung meeting in the center of the square at the well known fountain illuminating the area with a kinetic show of blue light. See if you can spot Feathers McGraw sneaking around the scene and Preston the evil robot dog. Images Follow
