Christmas time at Sainsburys Fosse Park sees various local Brass Bands etc entertain the shoppers as they stock up on Christmas food and presents. With the Christmas campaign of 2019 featuring a Dickensian-esqe setting I asked local Stuber Organ performer John Finney if he would be interested in performing in store to bring some festive cheer to a monday afternoon and evening in-store, this is my short film featuring some of his performance which brought smiles to customers of all ages.

A look at the festive atmosphere outside the King Power Stadium ahead of the Leicester City v Norwich City Premier league match played on the 14th December 2019. My film features the Enderby Band playing Christmas favorites and santa's reindeer outside the ground at a game that also saw free mince pies and santa hats being handed out to fans attending the last game before christmas.

I visited Misterton Hall nr Lutterworth for the East Midlands Cyclo-Cross Regional Championship. In my film we see the Cyclo-Cross riders preparing their bikes for the race before heading to the start line and racing through the woodland filled grounds of Misterton Hall. The riders cover various terrain and twist and turn through the trees over bridges and beside a lake before crossing the finish line stopping occasionally at the pits to swap bikes.

I take a look at the annual Christmas Toys & Steam Day held at Leicester Museums Abbey Pumping Station. Featuring Meccano creations of every conceivable type and model railway layouts of various gauges. These are the toys young and old dreamt of finding under the tree on christmas mornings though the decades.

The St Martins Church in Desford Leicestershire was transformed over the weekend of 29th November to 2nd December into a winter wonderland of decorated christmas trees created by village residents and groups on a theme of Your Favorite Story. Among the 37 trees where Mr Men, Dick Whittington and a tree with a Leicester City theme, topped with a miniature Premier League trophy and featuring King Claudio, An invite to Jamie Vardy`s Party and Gary Linekers famous red underwear many fans will remember from his BBC Match Of The Day appearance after their 5000/1 title winning season. The festival also featured a christmas market alongside traditional services.
