Stoney Stanton Easter Yarnbomb

A group  of Yarnbombers bring Easter cheer to Stoney Stanton (Leicestershire) with their Egg-sellent easter yarnbomb outside St Michael's Church and along the Village Hall railings. Hundreds of knitted and Crocheted, Chick's, Chicken's, Rabbits and more surrounded a tree and lined the wall of St Michael's Church in the village, bringing bright Easter time cheer in the spring sunshine.

Verdonbury Five - Newbold Verdon

The Leicestershire village of Newbold Verdon held its annual "Verdonbury" event on the 7th July 2018 featuring Duck agility performers the K9 Quackers, Classic Cars, a Funfair, Wigston Brass Band, ferret racing and Falconry displays among the attractions. Now in its 5th year the event organised by Newbold Verdon Community Action Group is as popular as ever and was well attended, whether this was down to the added attraction of an England World Cup game being shown on a big screen in the beer tent is a discussion is for another time but is certainly the reason the Wigston band end this film with a rendition of the national anthem.
