The Victory Show returns to Cosby in Leicestershire, recreating the 1940`s experience the show aims to commemorate the courage, hardships and endurance of our parents, grandparents, great grandparents and even great great grandparents during WWII. The show features living history displays aircraft, vehicles, and more including a battlefield scenario re-enacted and a parachute drop. featuring a look at a number of displays my film begins in the forest looking at the stealthy combat seen in these types of location. We move then to the encampment where a scottish solider entertains the troops with a bagpipe solo. the acton moves onto the flightline walk where we get up close to the beautiful spitfire planes and then onto the battlefield with the German and Allied troops advance on each other !, after a moving tribute to the fallen with the last post accompanied by the sounds of aircraft overhead the tanks and troops leave the battlefield and a parachute drop is preformed from a Dakot...

I visited Portsmouth in the south of England to see the Americas Cup sailing. The day was officially a practice day but that did not stop the teams taking it seriously as they made their way through the race village and out to their waiting boats. Before racing commenced we where treated to a display by the RAF display team The Red Arrows who looked spectacular above the UK`s Land Rover BAR team boat as it waited to start racing. It wasn't long till the racing began in sun soaked Portsmouth and the condition's where perfect for some exiting action on the water, My film gives a overview of the days events and the atmosphere both on the water and in the race village.
