The Great Central Railway as you`ve never seen it before !. From 23rd November to 30th December, evenings at the Leicestershire heritage railway will be transformed for the first ever Winter Wonderlights experience. The experience begins on the platform at Loughborough station as the train is illuminated ready for a magical ride like no other, see the steam train fantastically dressed in a myriad of colorful lights, illuminating the Leicestershire countryside as it goes. Passengers will pass through festively decorated stations and magical scenes as they travel along the line pulled by one of the GCR`s Steam engines and may even see the magical lights of the train reflected in the reservoir at swithland !. So it`s all aboard for a magical ride thats not to be missed. The Highcross Shopping Center was transformed into a Futuristically Fabulous setting for Winter Galactical. Featuring Interstellar Storm who start the show with an bang of their thundering rhythms. Next in from a galaxy far away is Titan The Robot whos landed on earth to celebrate his favorite holiday with the humans. we end with the High Heeled Spaceships with their mirrored outfits and skyscraper high heels. also featured in the images are Boogie Storm.

Leicester City Center came to festive life as the annual switching on of the Christmas lights took place in the 21st November 2019. Come with me as I take a look at the atmosphere of switch on evening in Leicester City Center, There`s lot's to see from the brightly lit tree containing 2000 lights and 900 baubles and 16,000 lights around the city bringing festive cheer to all ages. Enjoy sparkling stilt walkers and brass bands in various locations around the city and see the traditional nativity scene and diorama in the Town Hall square, the film ends with Leicester Cathedral ringing out it`s bells to mark the start of the festive season in the city.

The entrance to the now disused and filled in Southgates pedestrian underpass in the centre of Leicester has become one of leicester`s increasing number of legal street art zones, areas where street artists can practice their art in a safe and legal way, whilst also turning areas of the city that would otherwise become forgotten, into ever evolving open air galleries.

On Diwali day 2019 BBC Radio Leicester held an Open Day featuring tours of the station, an exhibition of dance costumes (see pic below) and traditional dance performances by the Centre for Indian Classical Dance (CICD). My film features a few of the traditional dances performed in the reception area of the radio station. A design promoting the event was also created by myself and was displayed in and around the station on the day and can be seen below. Happy Diwali to all celebrating.
