Desford Scarecrow Festival 2023 - Desford Gets Animated

The annual scarecrow festival returns to the Leicestershire village of Desford with 80+ scarecrows on this years theme of "get animated".

The theme meant appearances from many animated favorites from Spirited Away, Dennis The Menace, Toy Story, Postman Pat and more. Some streets had got together to create a combined display with manor gardens being invaded by 101 Dalmatians including Cruella's car !. Pete's Dragon and the Secret Life Of Pet`s where also featured. my film features a selection of the many scarecrows around the village but a visit to this yearly event is highly recommended to see them all.
