3 Lions On A Wall - Street Art

As England prepared to meet Italy in a historic Euro 2020 Final at Wembley Stadium in London, 106 miles away in the market town of Nuneaton an artist was commissioned to create an artwork depicting Manager Gareth Southgate, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. "Three Lions On A Wall" artwork was created by local artists Nathan Parker aka 'N4T4' and James Bennett. The project is the brainchild of Kate and Paul Williams who live in the property above the work. The project also has a fundraising element, with money donated going toward the purchase of a defibrillator to be donated to a local sporting team, a response to a device that saved Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen earlier in Euro 2020. My film shows the England fans lining up to have their photos taken with the artwork and the work itself. #3lionsonawall #ItsComingHome.

Early Morning at Bradgate Park

This short film was shot by me during the early morning sunrise at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire. The film features Bradgate park which was the birthplace and early home of Lady Jane Grey - 9 days Queen of England. The park is well known for its herds of red and fallow deer who roam freely amongst the spectacular scenery of this unspoilt part of Leicestershire.

BMX National Series at Huncote Hornets, Leicestershire

The 29th and 30th September 2018 saw the #BMX National Series come to #Leicester Huncote Hornets BMX track, The event (rescheduled due to weather issues in early spring) saw riders of all ages arrive in the Leicestershire town from across the country to do battle on the Hornets BMX track behind the Pavilion leisure center. My film aims to give a sense of the race atmosphere on day two of the event where a dramatically cloudy sky and lighting gave a cinematic feel to races on the track. Hold on tight this is a fast one !.

The Paris - Roubaix Bike Race - April 2013

My film features the professional (and dusty !) Paris - Roubaix Bike Race which took place in April 2013 and was filmed at various locations along the route in France. The Race takes place (as its name suggests) on a route between Paris and Roubaix in northern France and is famous for its rough terrain and cobblestones which often cause riders to fall and gives the race its nickname of 'The Hell of the North & 'A Sunday in Hell'. The event was first run in 1896 and as one of cycling's oldest races draws large crowds from many country's. The race was created by two Roubaix textile manufacturers, Théodore Vienne and Maurice Perez.
