Blue Peter 90`s Time Capsule Tour at BBC Radio Leicester

The Blue Peter Millennium Time Capsule buried in 1998 beneath the Millennium Dome (now the O2), in Greenwich by presenters Katy Hill and Richard Bacon was due to be opened in 2050.
The capsule which features various items from the 90s took a tour of various BBC Local Radio Stations etc after being accidentally unearthed in February 2017 by builders.
In this video I visit the capsule and its contents on display at BBC Radio Leicester.
After the tour the capsule will be held in The National Archives in Kew alongside a brand new Diamond Time Capsule which will celebrate Blue Peter’s Big Birthday in October 2018.
