GCR - Commercial Vehicle Day & Layland Society Meet
Poster Designed for the Great Central Railway Commercial Vehicle Day & Layland Society Annual Meet the poster features two Layland buses drawn by myself in thier well known colours. The number plates of the vehicles contain a Easter egg, LM1907 being the date Layland Motors was founded and GCR1894 the date the railway was founded, the destination boards are also set to Quorn & Woodhouse (the events location).
The poster also borrows the style of the chrome Art Deco(esq) decorations often seen on the layland buses.
The main typeface (onyx) is one that mirrors that seen in the Layland logo, whilst Maven Pro is used for the smaller supplementary info for ease of reading.
