The Victory Show 2023

The Victory Show returns to Cosby in Leicestershire, recreating the 1940`s experience the show aims to commemorate the courage, hardships and endurance of our parents, grandparents, great grandparents and even great great grandparents during WWII. The show features living history displays aircraft, vehicles, and more including a battlefield scenario re-enacted and a parachute drop. featuring a look at a number of displays my film begins in the forest looking at the stealthy combat seen in these types of location. We move then to the encampment where a scottish solider entertains the troops with a bagpipe solo. the acton moves onto the flightline walk where we get up close to the beautiful spitfire planes and then onto the battlefield with the German and Allied troops advance on each other !, after a moving tribute to the fallen with the last post accompanied by the sounds of aircraft overhead the tanks and troops leave the battlefield and a parachute drop is preformed from a Dakota high above the showground. Closing out the day and the show are the famous RAF display team The Red Arrows as they fly past the event with smoke on !.
