Leicestershire Cyclocross League - Grace Dieu Priory

The Leicestershire Cyclocross League comes to Grace Dieu Priory for the first time and with a fresh dusting of snow the course looks particularly spectacular.
We start the film at the ruins of the Grace Dieu Priory an independent Augustinian priory near Thringstone in Leicestershire, England. It was founded around 1235-1241 by Roesia de Verdun and dissolved in 1538. It was dedicated to the Holy Trinity and St Mary. We turn toward the course and see some riders preparing, The bikes are cleaned and checked before we head to the start where riders names are called before they make their way to the Start line itself and away they go onto the varied and challenging course along the way they face various obstacles including the weather conditions, is that a snowman watching the action ?.The film ends at the finish line where the riders pass the chequered flag and get their times.
