Gauge One Layout Display

Step into the world of model railways in my latest video featuring the Gauge One Layout Display at The Battlefield Lines Winter Warmer Gala, inside the Market Bosworth Station Goods Shed. This showcase of model craftsmanship features a Gauge One model railway layout that captivated visitors with it`s intricate details, realistic sound effects, and impressive smoke effects. Viewers are treated to the sight and sound of several engines racing around the track. The engines, equipped with advanced chip based sound systems, emit authentic chugging, whistling, and bell-ringing sounds that transport onlookers to a bygone era of steam locomotion. The attention to detail is exceptional, with each engine boasting intricate designs replicating the characteristics of their real-life counterparts. Throughout the video, the camera captures the reactions of visitors, both young and old, as they watch the model trains speed along passing close to each other. Whether you're a seasoned model railway enthusiast or a casual observer, this video invites you to witness the full spectacle of gauge one model railways at Market Bosworth Station Goods Shed.

Early Morning at Bradgate Park

This short film was shot by me during the early morning sunrise at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire. The film features Bradgate park which was the birthplace and early home of Lady Jane Grey - 9 days Queen of England. The park is well known for its herds of red and fallow deer who roam freely amongst the spectacular scenery of this unspoilt part of Leicestershire.

BMX National Series at Huncote Hornets, Leicestershire

The 29th and 30th September 2018 saw the #BMX National Series come to #Leicester Huncote Hornets BMX track, The event (rescheduled due to weather issues in early spring) saw riders of all ages arrive in the Leicestershire town from across the country to do battle on the Hornets BMX track behind the Pavilion leisure center. My film aims to give a sense of the race atmosphere on day two of the event where a dramatically cloudy sky and lighting gave a cinematic feel to races on the track. Hold on tight this is a fast one !.

The Paris - Roubaix Bike Race - April 2013

My film features the professional (and dusty !) Paris - Roubaix Bike Race which took place in April 2013 and was filmed at various locations along the route in France. The Race takes place (as its name suggests) on a route between Paris and Roubaix in northern France and is famous for its rough terrain and cobblestones which often cause riders to fall and gives the race its nickname of 'The Hell of the North & 'A Sunday in Hell'. The event was first run in 1896 and as one of cycling's oldest races draws large crowds from many country's. The race was created by two Roubaix textile manufacturers, Théodore Vienne and Maurice Perez.
