Wartime Weekend 2013 - Great Central Railway

The Great Central Railway`s Wartime Weekend sees the Railway (and its visitors) travelling back in time recreating scenes from the 1940`s when Britain was at war.
The event features numerous authentic vehicles and music from the era as modern day visitors mix with those in historic uniforms always ready to answer any questions.
Visitors may also bump into Winston Churchill and other well known VIP`s of the era in what has become a very popular annual event.
The weekend`s events culminate with a Tiger Moth Plane performing a Poppy drop at the end of the event.  (Photos after the jump !)
