  A wall of New Parks Club in Leicester gets a makeover with a Mural depicting some of the city's sporting successes, including Leicester City Football Club winning the FA Cup and Mark Selby Current World Snooker Champion (at time of publication). The artwork was created by RUELO for Graffwerk, Funded and Supported by The Vichai Foundation, LCFC in the Community and Leicester Fire And Rescue Service.

In 2021 after a years break The Victory Show returned to Foxlands Farm in Cosby Leicestershire. Featuring Historical Societies, re-enactments, Vintage Vehicles and Aircraft, history came alive for visitors to the popular annual show. We start our visit to the event with a marching band who lead us into the 100 acre site before a flypast and landing by vintage aircraft. As the action moves back to down to earth we see various vehicles in motion before a masterclass in reversing a tank. To the woods then where we are advised to wear our helmets and to beware of enemy shells. In a German camp they are playing chess whilst listening to a gramophone when a soldier brings news of a possible attack, Over in the allied trenches they are ready for action as they make a push toward enemy lines. We end on a letter (or maybe a report of the days events ?) being typed up, before tents are packed away for another year.

The residents of Desford in Leicestershire got their creative juices flowing over the August bank holiday with the return of the ever popular Desford Scarecrow Festival. With a years break one of Leicestershire's biggest scarecrow festivals was back bigger and better than ever, 2021`s theme being A Desford Tale... Tell us a story. The theme lent itself to a wide variety of interpretations with Very Hungry Caterpillars appearing alongside Captain Underpants, Room on the Broom, Zog, The Gruffalo and more, Pennywise the Clown even made a scary appearance at one address. The village was full of people throughout a very successful three days, each following the trail and ticking off spotted scarecrows in their trail guides before voting for their favorite. Several "Hubs" at various points along the route, played host to food stalls and entertainment from local brass bands, dance performances, singers, Bands and more making them a perfect place to rest those tired feet.

As the flagship fundraising event for 2021 Rocket Round Leicester saw a fleet of 40 large rocket artworks placed throughout the city between July and September forming a trail to follow. Each rocket was decorated by an artist in a different style some linking to their location, like the LCFC themed rocket outside the King Power Stadium and others with more general themes of Leicester birds or historical figures (look out for a King Richard III themed rocket) etc. This film has been several months and many miles in the making and shows just a selection of the rockets on the trail, You`ll see rockets beside well known Leicester landmarks across the city from Jubilee Square to the Golden Mile and all points in between, how many can you spot and which is your favorite ?. After the success of the event in 2020, the Cosby Crafters are back in 2021 with a new Yarnbomb with a theme of "up up and away" to brighten up the village. With creations including cheeky seagulls, fairytale characters, Giant Butterflies and more there was something for everyone. The postbox in The Nook has been given a topper Mr Whippy (parked alongside) would be proud of, there`s even a flake and raspberry sauce. A little further down the road several giant butterflies have come to rest on the side of a barn and a large knitted sign gives passing motorists and visitors a clue as to whats happening. As you enter the village a knitted bi-plane is flying a strange flight path whilst outside the popular Tithe Barn a group of knitted geese form their V shape flying formation.

  The Leicester Tigers Rugby Club teamed up with artist James Lad and street art collective Graffwerk to design the Away Kit for the team, featuring a striking Tiger design that incorporates various cultural influences the club approached James and Graffwerk about the possibility of collaborating together on the kit designs. What started as an initial idea turned into ‘The Spirit of Leicester’. The artwork is situated on the south of the stadium and very visible to both passers by and fans on matchday.

  To mark the historic win of The FA Cup by Leicester City in 2021, Leicester City Council and Graffwerk came together with street artist Smug to create an artwork on the side of The F Bar on Walnut Street close to both the former and current home of the club (Filbert Street and the King Power Stadium). Featuring several foxes fighting for the cup it visually represents the well known phrase associated with the club of "foxes never quit".

In July 2021 BID Leicester and The Big Difference Company brought Katena Luminarium by Architects Of Air to Leicester`s Green Dragon Square. The inflatable sculpture features winding passages of winding domes and is inspired by the repetitious forms found in the bazaars of the east. As visitors enter the structure they are immersed in radiant light shining through the various coloured plastic walls and domes creating an atmosphere that both enchants and delights with its otherworldly appearance. The architects of air have been creating Luminarium since 1992 and they have seen over 3 million visitors in 41 countries worldwide. The Luminarium are cut and glued together in their workshop by hand in Nottingham England.

  In July 2021 Hinckley town Centre played host to BID Hinckley`s Classic Vehicle evening meet.  Gleaming polished classics from various years (pre-2000 registration) assembled on the sunlit streets and market place in the town, mirrored chrome shone brightly and owners sat beside them proud of their work. Visitors admired the artistry of yesterday's car designers as they walked socially distanced up and down castle street the main market street in the Leicestershire town.
