Designed for the Great Central Railways Classic & Vintage Vehicle Fest my poster features two classic cars parked side by side as they may be seen when on display at such an event. the poster uses a simple design evoking the railway posters of old with a racing stripe in the background evoking classic race car livery. The events logo is also reminiscent of designs found on trophy's and plaques handed to winners of motor racing.

I travelled to Belfast for the Grande Partenza or (big start) of the Giro D'Italia pro cycle race. Featuring several well known cycling teams the three-week long Giro takes place primarily in Italy, but since 1996, the Grande Partenza has been hosted outside the country. The race route takes in several locations around Belfast including Stormont and the Titanic Quarter home of the famous ship. My film joins the teams as they race along the streets of Belfast past buildings, fences, trees and a collection of bikes painted in the races trademark pink colour placed at various points along the route. Later in the film I visit the Giro Village where we get a look behind the scenes at the bike checking area and with the Titanic Belfast building providing a spectacular backdrop we see the start line in the very dock Titanic was constructed in. A Bluebell wood near the Osiers Bridge motorway junction at Fosse Park Leicester is surrounded by busy roads on all sides. This hidden oasis of calm comes alive in the spring when hundreds of Bluebells create a carpet of blue and bees flit from flower to flower in the sunshine, the vast sea of blue is broken only by the occasional bright yellow dandelion and small rabbits hopping quickly in and out of the cover of the tall flowers.
