In July 2021 BID Leicester and The Big Difference Company brought Katena Luminarium by Architects Of Air to Leicester`s Green Dragon Square. The inflatable sculpture features winding passages of winding domes and is inspired by the repetitious forms found in the bazaars of the east. As visitors enter the structure they are immersed in radiant light shining through the various coloured plastic walls and domes creating an atmosphere that both enchants and delights with its otherworldly appearance. The architects of air have been creating Luminarium since 1992 and they have seen over 3 million visitors in 41 countries worldwide. The Luminarium are cut and glued together in their workshop by hand in Nottingham England.

  In July 2021 Hinckley town Centre played host to BID Hinckley`s Classic Vehicle evening meet.  Gleaming polished classics from various years (pre-2000 registration) assembled on the sunlit streets and market place in the town, mirrored chrome shone brightly and owners sat beside them proud of their work. Visitors admired the artistry of yesterday's car designers as they walked socially distanced up and down castle street the main market street in the Leicestershire town. My film features a few of the cars that attended and aims to give a flavor of the event.

As England prepared to meet Italy in a historic Euro 2020 Final at Wembley Stadium in London, 106 miles away in the market town of Nuneaton an artist was commissioned to create an artwork depicting Manager Gareth Southgate, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. "Three Lions On A Wall" artwork was created by local artists Nathan Parker aka 'N4T4' and James Bennett. The project is the brainchild of Kate and Paul Williams who live in the property above the work. The project also has a fundraising element, with money donated going toward the purchase of a defibrillator to be donated to a local sporting team, a response to a device that saved Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen earlier in Euro 2020. My film shows the England fans lining up to have their photos taken with the artwork and the work itself. #3lionsonawall #ItsComingHome .

The Blue (heart) rewilding project/campaign was founded in 2014 by wildlife filmmaker Fergus Beeley, The project was founded in response to dramatic biodiversity and biomass declines in the UK. The only requirement is to allow a patch of land to grow and see what plants and animals return. My film looks at the projects implementation in the Leicestershire village of Desford where village residents have enhanced the projects visibility by running bunting featuring the projects symbol (a Blue Heart) along a roadside verge. Desford Parish Council and Leicestershire County Council have agreed not to mow this verge during spring and summer 2021 in the support of the projects aims to see wild flower plants and animals return to the area.
