Poster designed for Leicester Charity Menphys promoting their annual open garden event at Belvoir Lodge in July. My design is type lead and whilst formal in layout the poster has an deliberate handmade arts and crafts feel to it reflecting the rural nature of the events location.    

On the evening of 28th March 2013 The Curry Train (5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe) completed a circular tour of the Midlands. Taking in several stations along the route the train was named The Curry Train due to its passengers being served Curry's from around the world as they travelled from station to station. My film features the train as it thunders through Narborough Station illuminated only by the lights of the station before continuing on its journey.

A poster designed by me for Leicester charity Menphys to advertise their annual curry evening taking place in November 2013. The poster design uses traditional rangoli patterns and Bollywood movie posters as inspiration and has a colour scheme of Reds Yellows and Purples.

My short film following one person (my Dad) as he attempts to windsurf in high waves and sub zero temperatures at South Sands beach in Salcombe Devon. The wind was blowing and as much of the country shivered in sub zero temperatures and several inches of snow Windsurfer Mike Spencer of Leicester set out to conquer the waves of the South Sands beach in Salcombe South Devon.

A Greater Spotted Woodpecker visits our bird feeder one snowy Sunday. The Great Spotted Woodpecker (or Greater Spotted Woodpecker) despite being quite a common bird in number rarely visits garden bird feeders in the UK.

My short film follows Pannier Tank 1369 as it travels along a short section of the South Devon Railway. We join the engine steaming on a chilly march morning in 2013 as it waits to depart from Buckfastleigh Station, We then follow the service as it passes through the beautiful South Devon countryside briefly stopping at the country station of Staverton before continuing on to Totnes.

A visit to The Great Central Railway sheds following the volunteer staff as they work on the engines during the evening. The engine seen here as King Edward II was recently renamed King Richard III to celebrate the discovery of the Monarch in the city beneath a car park at Grayfriars church.

Flyer design for Leicester charity Menphys advertising the Menphys Walk 2013 this unique flyer is cut to a footprint shape a theme continued from related media and features a QR code for those interested to scan and register for the walk.

My video features 70000 Britannia as it steams through the spectacular natural landscape of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and across the Ribblehead Viaduct the longest and most famous viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle Railway. The Viaduct will be instantly recognisable to fans of the Harry Potter films as being part of the route taken by the Hogwarts Express from London to the famous wizarding School. My location afforded me a opportunity to use a single shot to show the engines full approach before passing me and continuing into the Blea Moor Tunnel the longest tunnel on the Settle-Carlisle Line.
