The Pieris Brassicae Butterfly

The Pieris Brassicae Butterfly is a large white Butterfly with white wings and black tips on the forewings. Females also have two black spots and a black streak on each wing. This Butterfly is very common in UK gardens and in my short film they can be seen fluttering around Buddleia plants drinking nectar from it's purple flowers Adult Pieris Brassicae can be seen from April to October.

Riders - A Short Film

Filmed court side at the John Sandford Sports Centre in 2013 this short film aims to capture the atmosphere at a Leicester Riders Basketball game v Newcastle Eagles. The video features a number of riders players including Drew Sullivan of Team GB and a team talk from Rob Paternostro.

The Engine Sheds at the Snowdon Mountain Railway

During a visit to The Snowdon Mountain Railway I was invited to take a look 'behind the scenes' in the railways engine sheds in Llanberis. The sheds are equipped to repair and maintain their collection of both vintage steam and more recent diesel engines. The recently restored Snowdon Lilly Carriage can be seen alongside one of the steam engines awaiting it's first public trip to the summit later that day as part of the newly launched Heritage Steam Service my video of which can be seenin my previous post Here
