In July 2021 BID Leicester and The Big Difference Company brought Katena Luminarium by Architects Of Air to Leicester`s Green Dragon Square.
The inflatable sculpture features winding passages of winding domes and is inspired by the repetitious forms found in the bazaars of the east.
As visitors enter the structure they are immersed in radiant light shining through the various coloured plastic walls and domes creating an atmosphere that both enchants and delights with its otherworldly appearance.
The architects of air have been creating Luminarium since 1992 and they have seen over 3 million visitors in 41 countries worldwide.
The Luminarium are cut and glued together in their workshop by hand in Nottingham England.
