Spinning, Spiraling high above the crowd Heliosphere is presented by the Dream Engine and was the finale to a week of events at Leicester City Festival 2019.
During the performance an acrobat suspended beneath a helium balloon explores the uncharted space between street level and rooftops creating the illusion of flying.
The performer can go from street level to twenty meters up in a mere moment making for a dynamic and interactive show for the audience.
We join the performer and ground crew setting up before she rises into the sky, then marvel as the large helium balloon eclipse the evening sun over Jubilee Square in Leicester what a view of the city she must have from such a height.
As she descends to street level children race to give her a (very) high five before she soars high above their heads and performs acrobatic moves.
