The Bluebell Wood - Fosse Park

Near one of Leicester's busy roads is one of natures finest shows. My film features an area of unspoilt woodland beauty found just alongside numerous busy roads and the Fosse Park shopping centre. During the spring and early summer months the woodland floor becomes a fantastic display of blue in the form of hundreds of wild Bluebells, a sight that many people miss as they speed past on the busy roads that surround this little oasis of calm. Butterflies and various flying insects go from flower to flower collecting pollen as birds and rabbits play in this tiny area of woodland all just meters away from the heavy traffic of the M1 motorway approach.
