Opening Ceremony Fireworks - London

My view of the spectacular fireworks that signalled the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Filmed from just outside the Olympic park the stadium is dwarfed by Anish Kapoor`s Orbit tower.
During the final moments of slumdog millionaire director Danny Boyle`s 'Isles of Wonder' Opening ceremony the tower signalled the start of the games with a ring of fireworks from its roof this was closely followed by a spectacular display from the atop of the stadium itself which answered with a show of colour, movement and a barrage of loud bangs and noise as it illuminated the East London sky.
