A poster designed for a curry evening at the cuisine of India restaurant in aid of Leicester charity Menphys and inspired by Bollywood movie posters, my design uses a colour palette of deep purples and oranges closely associated with Asian culture.
The typeface used is embellished with decorative scrolls echoing the patterns used in sari materials.
The Poster also features a series of petal shapes forming a border above and below the main section of the poster which are then also used to form a flower pattern behind the text.
