Where There Is Light, Leicester - Journeys Festival International


A look at the art installation Where There Is Light at Leicester Cathedral part of the Journeys Festival International. Where There is Light, a sound and light installation by Squidsoup, shares the voices and stories of communities from across the UK. Interviews took place online during 2020, the small lights that make up the work respond as those interviewed are asked the question "where do we find light in our lives ?". Commissioned by ArtReach for Journeys Festival International, with funding from Arts Council England and BID Leicester. Also funded by The Organ Project and Fratton Big Local, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
