Aardman Stop Motion Heroes by SKB

Ahead of Aardman in Concert at Leicester`s De Montfort Hall Leicester the venue commissioned SKB or Syston Knitting Banksy to render various well known Aardman Stop Motion Animation heroes as bollard toppers in her own unique and creative style. The toppers will welcome the audience to the show which is a fun celebration of the animation studios work shown on a screen and accompanied by a live orchestra. Among the knitted heroes we see Chaz & Morph famous for their mischievous exploits alongside the late great Tony Heart on Heartbeat and later SMart etc, there is also Fluffles Gromits "Girlfriend" from a mater of Loaf and Death, next along we find the sheep from Mossy Bottom Shaun The Sheep (here seen in his A Close Shave jumper, next up the evil "Chicken" Feathers Mc Grawl and probably the most famous Plasticine duo (fon`t tell morph & chaz) Wallace & Gromit who round up a cracking collection of stop motion heroes loved by thousands worldwide.

LOROS, Rocket Round Leicester

As the flagship fundraising event for 2021 Rocket Round Leicester saw a fleet of 40 large rocket artworks placed throughout the city between July and September forming a trail to follow. Each rocket was decorated by an artist in a different style some linking to their location, like the LCFC themed rocket outside the King Power Stadium and others with more general themes of Leicester birds or historical figures (look out for a King Richard III themed rocket) etc. This film has been several months and many miles in the making and shows just a selection of the rockets on the trail, You`ll see rockets beside well known Leicester landmarks across the city from Jubilee Square to the Golden Mile and all points in between, how many can you spot and which is your favorite ?. A Dismal Visit To Banksy`s Dismaland

I took a dismal trip to Banksy`s Dismaland in Weston Super Mare. Billed as "The UK`s most disappointing new visitor attraction !" the "Bemusement park" as its known features an alternative take on the theme park experience. There's lots of depressingly dismal things to see from the "dismals" who tell you to "get out and not come back" to the riot van slide and fly tip puppet review you can be sure this certainly isn't Disneyland. My short film aims to give a flavor of just some of the works on display and the experience of visiting Banksy`s show at the former Tropicana lido in the town from the security gates through to the Exit through the gift shop at the end. some dismal images follow.

The Big Hoot - Birmingham 2015

The Big Hoot saw a number of plastic owls painted by various artists both local to the city of Birmingham and beyond placed around the city. Themes included local celebrities like Ozzy Osborne, chrome and mirror plated versions plus a number created by sponsors of the event like Wild In Art, Lloyds Bank and more. Following the display the Owls will be auctioned to raise funds for the Birmingham Children`s Hospital. My video focuses on a number of the owls in the city center there are however many more to see and a visit is recommended to find them all. The Big Hoot runs until 27th September 2015 images follow.
