The Syston Knitting Banksy (SKB) returns with another spectacular creation. The elusive Syston Knitting Banksy or SKB regularly creates knitted artworks related to current events and to mark special occasions. With King Charles III upcoming coronation the artist has depicted the new king on his throne with Crown, Orb and Sceptre atop a postbox in the village of Syston in Leicestershire. Full of accurate details the piece features recreations of the St Edward's Crown used in the Coronation service itself, the Golden cloak which represents the Robe Royal and featuring the national emblems of the UK. The chair is a wooly duplicate of the coronation chair commissioned by Edward 1st in 1296, it also features a gray area representing the "Stone Of Scone" used for centuries in the coronation of scottish monarchs.

The annual celebration of the story of St George comes to Orton Square in Leicester`s cultural quarter. Featuring knights on stilts, Allin Kempthorne and his baby dragon (as seen on Britain's Got Talent), Traditional Maypole Dancing, Bill Brookman and Friends and St George himself among the attractions this event has something for all the family. A group  of Yarnbombers bring Easter cheer to Stoney Stanton (Leicestershire) with their Egg-sellent easter yarnbomb outside St Michael's Church and along the Village Hall railings. Hundreds of knitted and Crocheted, Chick's, Chicken's, Rabbits and more surrounded a tree and lined the wall of St Michael's Church in the village, bringing bright Easter time cheer in the spring sunshine.  

Join the team from LMTA ( Leicester Museums Technology Association ) as they take us on a tour of Leicester`s Abbey Pumping Station and it`s spectacular Beam Engines. From top to bottom, the tour titled "Steam With The Team" takes us on a trip through history and the levels of these unique and awe inspiring feats of engineering. The various LMTA team members, in dress appropriate for the era, lead the group from the ornate and cathedral-esqe upper levels, down to the hissing, gushing, high pressure valve and gear filled basement areas, with the massive beam engines in constant movement above and around you really feel like your in the presence of a living breathing iron giant. With more locomotives working in one hour than anywhere else in the UK and a huge variety of rare, unique and historic engines on show the Statfold Barn Railway`s Spectacle Of Steam really is a Spectacle to see. My film begins at the sheds as we see the various engines "steaming up" for a day on the rails, before heading to the station to collect coaches full of passengers or freight. Next we see locomotives of all types at full steam along the tracks joined by a tram and the very unique "Goose" vehicle, How many can you spot ?. We end back at the station with the engines returning to collect more passengers. Stay tuned post-credits for some fun in the roundhouse.
