A poster designed by me for a charity football match between Leicester City and Doncaster Fan teams. The match was in aid of a number of charity causes and sponsored by touchline sports and faircharm restorations. The images chosen are designed to evoke the energy and excitement of a football match and the colors of the player outlines the opposing teams.

Take a ride aboard the Great Central Railway`s Santa Deluxe service. We step back in time as our journey begins on the platform at Loughborough station where the Steam Engine sits in steam waiting to take us on a magical trip along the Great Central Railway. With Christmas music crackling over the station PA the festive atmosphere is in full swing as eager young children and adults too complete in Christmas jumpers and hats move about taking in the sights and sounds of the past the GCR is well known for. With a clunk the music is interrupted by a station announcement inviting us to board the train, we find our seats and are offered a mince pie and glass of orange juice or sherry (for the adults) before with a slight bump we are on our way. During the trip we are visited by Mrs Claus some elves and the main man himself Santa who spends some time chatting to my nephews and handing out gifts. Filmed at various locations around the city the second of my Christmas in Leicester films takes a look at the city`s Christmas lights as they are switched on signaling the start of the festive season in the city. Look out for the Naughty Christmas Tree from the same difference street performance group in town hall square (she does not want to be decorated !) the crowds of people taking in the Christmas scenes and listen out for the cathedral bells ringing out across the winter evening.  more images follow.

As part of an evening of events taking place around Leicester's Christmas Light Switch on the Highcross Shopping Center and events company Maynineteen held an event called Snowtopia. The gathered crowds where entertained by performances from Spark ! drummers, Light walkers on Stilts, The Snow Queen and Neon Birds in a high energy and engaging event that turned St Peters Square into a Winter Wonderland full of musicality, rhythm & Impressive light effects. A large firework display lit up the sky as I traveled home from a LCFC football match so after parking up I filmed this short video of a spectacular display originating from Old Newtonians RFC on the edge of the city of Leicester.

A look at artist G Sian`s work on the glass of Curve Leicester entitled Sanskriti Grafitti. The artist has created a work in which he visualizes the breadth of his understanding of the world contrasting the movement of the reflections and activity in and around the theater with the static lines of the work creating a multilayered effect that when viewed close encourages the viewer to explore the piece so as not to miss any part. When the piece is viewed from distance the viewer is enveloped into the large scale of piece and becomes part of the work. The artist himself has worked across various media including  cinema, painting, theater, design, linguistics and classics. for more information on the artists work see http://gsian.com My film aims to give a overview of the piece and act as a documentation and record of it before its removed in late October / early November 2016.

Staged in association with BBC Radio Leicester, DMU square mile India and a number of local dance academies the event was part of the annual city wide Diwali celebrations that include the light switch on along Melton Road and the world famous Golden Mile. My film aims to give a flavor of the afternoons activities and culminates in the parade of lights as it sets off through the city to join the light switch on. #DiwaliLeicester

I visited the ever popular Belgrave Hall Good Food Fair. featuring organic foods, drinks, preserves, cakes and snacks from local producers, sellers and restaurants, the event takes place in the grounds of the early 18th century built Belgrave Hall and Gardens in Leicester and in addition to the food stalls featured a cooking demonstration area using ingredients available for purchase at the fair. My film aims to capture the atmosphere of the event which is held annually and is always a popular date in the diary for food lovers in the city.
